Yes, there is a free AI sales role play, and this page is not going to make you sit through a demo call to get it. Below is the full broadcast of me calling Dr. David Chen, the hardest AI sales agent I have ever built. He objects, he deflects, he lies about needing to "run it by my partners," and he will hang up on a weak pitch. I teach you my 6-stage framework first, then you watch me run it against him in real time. Then you can climb in the ring with him yourself, free.
Full disclosure: I aired this as a live stream first, and my internet died 8 minutes before the end, right in the middle of the call. The player above is the complete video, all 31 minutes, including the ending the live audience never got to see.
What Is AI Sales Role Play?
AI sales role play is practice selling against an AI that acts like a real buyer: it asks questions, raises objections, stalls, and pushes back, so you can rehearse a sales call without burning a real lead. The good ones respond to what you actually say instead of following a script, which means you can fail safely 50 times before the call that counts.
That last part matters more than any feature list. Nobody gets good at handling "that's real money, I'd have to run it by my partners" by reading about it. You get good by hearing it 30 times and answering it out loud.
Is There a Free AI Sales Role Play?
There is, but read the fine print on "free" first. Most tools in this space gate the real product behind a sales demo or a limited trial: Second Nature is built for enterprise teams, and Hyperbound offers a free interactive demo with pre-built personas before the paid platform. The other free route people suggest is pasting a persona prompt into ChatGPT, which works, but a text chat is not a phone call. Typing objection responses trains your thumbs, not your mouth.
The version I built is different in 2 ways. It is a voice call against an agent tuned to be genuinely hard, and founding members get it free during the beta at buildmarketclose.com, locked at the founding rate for life. I am not hiding the price behind a demo because there is nothing to hide yet. You are early. That is the deal.
The 6-Stage Framework I Run in the Call
The live call above is not me winging it. Every move follows the same 6 stages I have run for 25 years:
- Pre-call. 15 minutes of homework on the prospect before you ever dial.
- Rapport Building. Land the frame. In this call you will hear me use "think of me as your business doctor." Everything after that line is diagnosing.
- Get a Commitment. Before you present anything, get them to agree on what happens if the math works.
- Present. Show them a roadmap, a profit calculator with their own numbers in it, and let 2+2=4 do the selling.
- Test Close. Take their temperature before you ask for the business.
- Close. Ask, then handle what comes back.
The objections that come back are the whole game, and there are only 3 handlers you need: the spade, isolation, and the 1-10 double tap. I teach all 3 in the broadcast before the call plays, and I break down the full handler playbook in how to handle any sales objection.
Who Is Dr. David Chen?
Dr. Chen is the booked-call closer persona in my sparring gym: a practice owner who already agreed to the call, has real revenue on the line, and still fights you on every stage. He is trained to object, deflect, change the subject, claim he needs his partners, and hang up if you let the call go soft. My rule for him is simple: if you can close David, you can close anyone.
In the broadcast you will hear him lie to me. You will also hear which handler comes out when he does, and you can watch the stamp land when the deal goes through:

That is not a highlight reel moment. It is the end of a 16-minute call where every stage got fought for, which is exactly why it is worth watching over a polished demo where everything goes right.
How to Practice Sales Role Play With AI
Here is the practice loop that actually builds the skill:
- Learn 1 framework cold. Not 5 frameworks a little. Watch the broadcast above once all the way through.
- Run a call against an AI agent out loud, on voice. Text does not count.
- Lose. Note the exact line where you lost control of the call.
- Run it again and fix only that line.
- After each session, do a real autopsy on what died and why. I built a free method for that too: analyze lost sales calls with AI.
10 reps like that beat 10 hours of sales content. The reps are the product.
Where to Start
Watch the call above. Then, if you want reps against David and the rest of the roster, the sparring gym is free for founding members during the beta at buildmarketclose.com, and the full framework training plus the community live free in my Skool. Learn the framework first. Then go be dangerous.
